IPTV Buffering? How to Fix It

Freezing and buffering usually come from the home network or device. These quick fixes solve most problems.

1. Check your speed

Run a speed test on the device you watch on. Aim for 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K.

2. Use a cable

An Ethernet cable (or an Ethernet adapter for Firestick) is far more stable than Wi-Fi.

3. Restart everything

Turn off your router and device for 30 seconds, then turn them back on.

4. Clear the app cache

On Firestick and Android, go to Settings → Applications → your IPTV app → Clear cache.

5. Lower the quality

If your connection is weak, choose HD instead of 4K.

6. Close other apps

Downloads and other streams on your network use bandwidth.

7. Change the DNS

Setting your device DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 can improve loading times.

8. Update your player

Use the latest version of your IPTV app.
